John "Jack" Schinzer

John Schinzer was raised in Ashton, Illinois.  He studied at the Rockford School of Business, where he majored in Accounting, Business Administration and Business Law.  John then enlisted in the Air Force and served his country for four years in the Korean War.

Upon coming home from the military, John entered the financial services industry as a Registered Representative with Aid Association for Lutherans, now Thrivent, joined OneAmerica and wrapped up his long and productive Financial Advisor career with National Life Group and Weyers McKeever Financial Partners. Now, in his business development role, John continues to stay connected to his community and former clients.*

John loves people and has a true servant’s heart in the help he provides.  His integrity and trustworthiness have been the fuel that has led to John’s success.  He continues to build and maintain long lasting relationships in his community and surrounding area.  John is a member of Rochelle Kiwanis Golden K  Serving the Children of the World where he currently serves as Secretary, Rochelle American Legion Post 403 where he is a Past Commander and sponsors a High School Junior to Boys State each year, and Rochelle Veterans War Memorial Committee where he serves as a director.

John and his wife, Lea, live in Rochelle, Illinois, where they are active members of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  They have seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

John is insurance licensed in Illinois.
