2026

Congratulations to Gwen Kidd, this year’s recipient of the Skilled Trades Scholarship our company sponsors through the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Gwen will be graduating from Crystal Lake Central in May and starting cosmetology school the following week. Her desire to help people feel beautiful was inspired by her own grandmother’s cancer battle. In the future, it is Gwen’s goal to own a salon. She also wants to start her own nonprofit-donating her time and talents providing wigs and hair care to those who have lost their own hair to illness and cancer.

2025

Mia Saviano - she is the recipient of our Skilled Trades Scholarship for the Crystal Lake Chamber Foundation. Mia is going to school in Laramie, WY to study Automotive Mechanics. Her goal is to own her own automotive repair business. 

2024

Weyers McKeever Financial Partners is proud to announce the establishment of the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation "Skilled Trades Scholarship." This scholarship aims to support students pursuing careers in skilled trades and related fields, reflecting our commitment to community development and education.

We are thrilled to introduce Diana Frankiv as the first recipient of the 2024 Skilled Trades Scholarship. Diana, who emigrated from Ukraine, is a dedicated graduate of Crystal Lake South High School. She is currently pursuing her dream of studying medicine with the goal of becoming a Psychiatrist.
